Albert River is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has been channelling sound since his first record at sixteen, learning instruments as he went.
bank woe was six years in the making — a slow and deliberate process, every sound and the mix done alone. It was his first release since Secret Intelligent Light in 2019, made as A.U.R.A. The most recent is Living in Time and Space.
He also plays with Vera Ellen, his sister, and is featured on Ideal Home Noise — winner of the 2024 Taite Music Prize. He directed the videos for Homewrecker and Walking in Vegas.
